After posting that drawing, I had one person ask about commissions. It's actually a grey area I'd been avoiding for a while just because I'm not sure how comfortable I am with the idea.
So I'll ask anyone that cares to read this: If I were open for commissions, would you consider it?
My main worries are two key points.
1. Quality. If I'm getting requests to draw something, I want to make sure it's so good that even I like it. So far I've yet to draw something I really, really like, so that's sort of a problem. I want to make sure you guys are happy with what you get, especially if you're paying for it.
2. Limitations. Let's be honest, you guys are weird. I'm weird too, but you guys are really, really weird.
I kid. Still, there's bound to be strange requests if I do commissions, and I'd rather it didn't become a big deal if I turned down one thing but then went and did another.
It's something I've been thinking about for a while because it can help me get my name out there, get me more consistent with uploading, and help me improve a lot with technique and process, but it's a scary area to step into. I'll do it if there's people that want me to, but if not, I'm probably going to wait quite some time before thinking about it again.
Let me know what you think, and as always, stay classy.
